Wireless usb

Post by wallism »

I currently have an adapter that converts a wired USB keyboard output to TTL levels for use with electronic projects.

I want to replace the wired keyboard with a wireless keyboard like the Adafruit 922 wireless keyboard. Can I use the Adafruit 1012 USB WiFi to receive the wireless data from the 922 keyboard where the 1012 WiFi would be plugged into my USB to TTL adapter in place of my wired keyboard?

If this will work, I will purchase the 922 Keyboard and the 1012 WiFi.

You won't need the USB WiFi module #1012.

The miniature wireless USB keyboard #922 has a tiny RF dongle that speaks its own wireless protocol. You should be able to plug that into any USB port even your USB to TTL adapter.
