Easy-to-use hardware for Audio Streaming from Android via Bl

Post by Domi_Hammerfall »

Hello Community

We're using the Adafruit Feather nRF52840 Sense in one of our projects to communicate with Android smartphones via Bluetooth Low energy.
This project shall be expanded such that it is possible to stream audio files from Android devices to the microcontroller.

Unfortunately, according to the Nordic Semiconductor homepage, the nRF52840 does not support LE Audio (it cannot run the LC3 Codec due to insufficient computational power). Thus, we will probably need additional hardware.
Do you offer hardware for audio streams via Bluetooth (not necessarily BLE) that come with easy-to-use interfaces such as I2S digital audio or analog audio outputs?

Thank you for your help.
