Over the last two years, I’ve been exploring the use of Adafruit’s FONA mini-GSM breakout as well as the Feather FONA for posting environmental data to the Internet of Things. Thanks to the FONA libraries and sample code prepared by Adafruit, I’ve managed to deploy solar powered remote environmental monitors, and even realize some performance metrics for the same.
