FONA - detecting when outgoing call is answered

by dindadam on Sat Feb 16, 2019 4:21 pm

Hi everyone,
is there any way to detect when my outgoing call is answered?
I mean, when I ask for the call status with "AT+CPAS" the answer is "+CPAS: 4" (Ringing, in progress (outgoing)) both when the called person hasn't picked up my call, and when we are already talking.

I've tried to analyze the headphone output's sound wave, because there are periodic beeps and silences when the called phone is ringing. (attached picture) But I'am sure that it isn't the best way to do it...

I'm using fona808 breakout board, and arduino due.

thanks,
Adam

Try the AT+MORING command.. Mobile Originated RING.

You should get responses of 'MO RING' when the call is routed, and 'MO CONNECTED' when the other end picks up.
