Hi,
In our projects we are using 2000mAh li po batteries with FONA808, LiPo Solar Charger 390 and 6V, 2W solar pannel . We find that 2000mAh batteries are not enough for the system power consumption and want to replace them with 4000 mAh and 5000mAh batteries. We assume that the FONA808 will not be affected, and that the charging may be slower than for 2000mAh, but will the LiPo charger be able to charge those batteries as well?
thanks
joan

Re: lipo battery 5000mAh with fona & solar charger
The solar charger will charge any 3.7v LiPo or LiIon cell. The default charge rate is 500mA. It can be increased to 1000mA for a quicker charge with the addition of a resistor: https://learn.adafruit.com/usb-dc-and-s ... 1887767-20

Thanks Bill, then the only adjustment needed is the charging rate. Thanks
