Feed times "in 4 hours"

by jerryn on Tue May 22, 2018 6:37 am

The "recored time" on my feeds recently started showing up as "in 4 hours" I suspect this is a GMT thing - I am in TZ UTC-4. If I open the feed it shows the current time in my local time. Is there a setting to correct this?

single feed details - Time in Local Time - this is am2320 feed - snapped short time later so the data value is not the same.

(reposting from Discord)

Yep, seeing the same. Found the bug though.

We replaced the backend code that did feed loading last week and got a big speed boost, especially for folks with more feeds (cut loading time > 50% in most cases). BUUUT the time formatting changed just slightly, but enough that our frontend time rendering library (moment.js) started interpreting the times as local to your browser instead of as UTC, which they actually are.

before: "2018-05-22T12:13:14.123Z"
after (w/ bug): "2018-05-22 12:13:14.123"

We've reverted the time formatting coming from IO and your Feeds page should now show the correct time.
