windows iot core with adafruit components

by rleemans on Tue Mar 19, 2019 4:39 am

Hi,
I tested my sensors (INA219, max31865,...) with python. It worked perfectly but needed a variety of libraries.
Now I want to use windows 10 iot core, and can't find a tutorial of some sort about the usage of these libraries.
Could you help me further?

Hi,
I am working with a raspberry pi 3 B+ with windows10 iot core. I understand python, but want to program these sensors in Visual Basic.

Hi

Could you post some more info about the sensors (vendor part numbers, breakout board) you want to use?

I have built quite a few NetMF and Windows 10 IoT Core device libraries and applications so maybe able to help.

My blog, github and hackster profile cover the sort of projects I work on.

HI
I use the INA219 sensor, which is a current sensor. A max31865 which is an amplifier for a temperature sensor.
I also use a IC, the mcp3008 (adc convertor) Which works with iot core already.
The other 2 sensors I used just with the raspberry pi in python.
But now I want to use them with an azure iot platform. And to do that I need to use iot core obviously and VB. Which I am not very good with tbh.

Thank you for the link, much appreciated. Sadly it does not support Windows IoT. Dunno why so hard to find support for IoT touch displays. I guess it’s just not popular. Drats.
