GPS location via NBIOT

by rajendran78 on Mon Jul 15, 2019 5:01 am

Hi, I want to track location using NBIOT. But I can only post one value at a time using NBIOT AT commands. (Speed, lat, long, alt) has to be posted in 4 separate commands. Can this be done? Or can i piece them together into one string and send them to the MAP feed?
Example: 23,39.283277, -76.611818,10...will this update the location?

You can send data (your value - which would be speed) and locational data (for lat, long, and alt) in the same command Adafruit IO using the Update Data Point API endpoint.

https://io.adafruit.com/api/docs/?shell ... data-point

Data record including a value field (required) and optionally including: lat, lon, ele (latitude, longitude, and elevation values), and created_at (a date/time string).
