I think this time this solved. I found the generic mosquitto.conf file which mix both secure and unsecure port:

"MQTT ERROR: raspberrypi.adafruit-light-sensor xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx PUBLISH to topic `/feeds/exp.ch5` rejected, in {username}/{type}/{key} topics for shared resources, {username} may not be blank"

At least this proves the connection itself is ok but something is wrong in the topic mapping. Eventually, I relalized I was sending out my "/feeds/exp.ch5" but the username was missing at Adafruit; So I rewrote the topic line as follow and it eventually worked :) :

topic /feeds/exp.ch5 out 0 MyUserName

That way, Adafruit will receive the correct topic name, i.e: MyUserName/feeds/exp.ch5.
