How to use IO+ Time service?

by cstanke on Fri Nov 29, 2019 5:36 pm

When I click the blue "Get Started" button in the "Time" block at the Services page, I get a (mostly) blank page with the string:

This is an example service information page

Is the Time service not implemented yet? I am an IO+ user, how can I use the Time service?

Try https://io.adafruit.com/cstanke/services/time.
If that doesn't work, see https://io.adafruit.com/api/docs/mqtt.html#time-topics if you're using MQTT.
If you're using HTTP, send a GET request to one of:
/api/v2/time/seconds
/api/v2/time/millis
/api/v2/time/ISO-8601

Hi cstanke,

We've documented the IO+ Time service since this post, thanks for this post.

Visit https://io.adafruit.com/cstanke/services/time to bring up the full Time Service documentation

Thank you @Zwilrich and @brubell!

I'll take a look at the API documentation. I'm happy to know the service is available.

Regards!!
