how to transmit

by parkmaster on Thu Jul 16, 2020 9:08 am

I admit it .. I am lost trying to find two things. I need a sensor that measures the volume of material in a container. Once I find that sensor I need to transmit the alarm to a dashboard. The alarm data needs to flow wirelessly to a receiver and the data then needs to be converted to a number or text. I need a secod sensor the counts flow in one direction only and then transmits that data wirelessly. With that in mind does adafruit carry the materials needed to solve this need ?

Thank you

Hi,

I need a sensor that measures the volume of material in a container.

Unfortunately I'm not aware of this type of sensor.

Once I find that sensor I need to transmit the alarm to a dashboard.

You'd want to pick up an ESP32 or any WiFi-compatible microcontroller which can connect to Adafruit IO. IO has trigger notifications to alert/alarm you by email if the data it receives on a feed is above a certain threshold, this may be useful for your application.
