Name of Adafruit's modified version of WifiNINA

Post by ColoradoFrench »

Hello, in the following (now locked) discussion with @woosley, @brubell explained that Adafruit modified Arduino's WifiNINA library. I am pursuing the same goal of using it with an Arduino Uno Wifi Rev2.

It does not state the name of the new library. What is it? Links?

Thanks

Thanks @brubell

So is it the case that it's a different library by the same name (or fork of the main one)? If so, do I actually need to uninstall the one from the IDE and manually install this one?

If so, it's hard to see this as a sustainable distribution mechanism.

Uninstall the one from the IDE and install this one manually. We haven't formally packaged the adafruit fork for distribution via the arduino library manager.

Ok, I will. However I regret that this was not packaged formally and properly documented, and I recommend that should be done ASAP.
Thank you
