What motor driver board will work with an Nvidia Jetson Nano

Hi,

I am currently trying spec out a motor driver for my project. The cpu of my system runs on an Nvidia Jetson Nano.

Requirements:
- I would like to be able to control DC brushed, DC brushless, Stepper Motors, and Servo Motors all with one board if possible, or the largest combination of the bunch.
- I would need to be able to write the software in C++ as python is not allowable in my industry
- I would need to only use one communication bus on my microcontroller (either UART, i2c, or serial comms)

I was looking at this product https://www.adafruit.com/product/1438 but it states that it is for a Arduino specifically, but would this work with a different microcontroller? Could I use a feather board to write the firmware on and communicate with that to control the motors?

Thank you

The shield is designed to plug into an Arduino, but can be connected to any processor via jumpers. DC and stepper control is all via i2c. The Servo headers are just a pass-through for the Arduino pins 9 and 10. You would need to generate servo signals from the Jetson.

We have several other versions of the board, including a HAT for the Raspberry Pi and a Wing for the Feathers. Those boards are DC and Stepper motors only. They do not have servo headers. Both of those are pre-configured for 3.3v operation, so would probably be a slightly more convenient match for the Jetson. In any case, all communication is via i2c.

That should be possible also. You could us a Feather with the Motor Wing and send it commands from the Jetson.
