Delete old feed data

Post by Tom_Henry »

I just subscribed to io Plus. Looking forward to converting all my sensor date to dashboards.

Check out this dashboard: https://io.adafruit.com/Tom_Henry/dashboards/bme680

I have been trying to add the feed altitude to this dashboard using a altitude-block icon, and I have done everything the same as I did on the other 3 feeds you see on my dashboard. I can’t get the bar-chart icon to show up. I did exactly the same set up using altitude and altitude-block. I can’t tell how many times I have deleted the blocks and tried again. Any suggestions for me on this?

And my second question: Is there an easy way to delete old feed data from say a temperature feed?

I know that I can delete one feed at a time but that takes forever.

Thanks,

Tom Henry

Ok I fixed the Altitude problem.

However, sometimes the humidity reading comes out wrong but usually corrects itself within a minute or so.

I still would like to know if I can delete a group a say temperature feeds all at the same time.

I'm not sure what "wrong" means in this context? Is the humidity value on the adafruit io different from the value read by the sensor?

You can delete a group of feeds by calling this API endpoint: https://io.adafruit.com/api/docs/#delete-group
