Weather / storm-related feeds?

Post by Technodad »

With TS Henri headed for the US East Coast, I've made my barometric pressure feed group public for those who are interested in sensing the storm location:

https://io.adafruit.com/Technodad/group ... c-pressure

The feeds do not yet have location metadata - working on it. (Code snippets for doing this with the Adafruit CircuitPython IP library welcome - I'm sure it's just a JSON thing.) The feeds originate in the town of Kennebunk, ME.

Anyone else want to share feeds, particularly barometric pressure?

That link gives a 404 error. I was able to navigate to some bme data but just want you to know.

I had checked the group URL, but I suspect I was still logged in - when I did it in a Private browser I got the 404. It seems I don't understand how groups can be shared. In any case, the *tested* URLs for the component feeds:

https://io.adafruit.com/Technodad/feeds ... 0-pressure

https://io.adafruit.com/Technodad/feeds ... e-pressure

https://io.adafruit.com/Technodad/feeds ... t-pressure

Very cool - thank you for sharing! Now that the storm has passed, it's interesting to look back at the chart.
