Browser view bugs

Post by NukeHunter »

I love the functionality of the Adafruit io, thanks! There are a couple of bugs I wanted to report, though.
1. When looking at trends and you hit the next button, the page number doesn't change.
2. The graph of trends show values that don't exist. For example, my 'highcell' feed can be 0, 1, 2, 3, or 4, but when looking at the trend I see peaks at 2.6, 0.9, 1.5 etc. Mousing over (on my iPhone) the trend shows the same nonexistent data. For example it says on 10/20 at 10pm the value is 2.29 and if you look at the data in the database, it's 0 before and after that. The last not zero data was at 9:37 and it was 3.
Thanks,
Will

I've filed an issue for the data pagination issue, thank you!

In regards to the data and charting, we do data aggregation, where we take groups of your data and average it over time periods. This can work well in most cases (so we don't have to chart 10k data points during large time ranges), but if you're expecting exact data (binary, for example), it can be confusing. There are some charting options to limit the aggregation and only see the real data.
