AdafruitIO_Wifi - Tutorial 06 digital in- code dont work any

Post by Loddepus »

Hi.
I have problem running code with NodeMCU(ESP8266) board and AdafruitIO_Wifi library "config.h".
The code worked 6 mounts ago, but seems something in latest library versions has been destoyed so it
does not recognice the commands that worked, though they are still the phrases in AdafruitIO tutorials.
I have updated to latest version of IDE and the libraries for Adafruit WIFI.
Error message sounds: "AdafruitIO_Wifi does not name a type"...

Thanks in advance.

Please ensure all of your libraries are fully up to date. Then try one of the examples here:
https://github.com/adafruit/Adafruit_IO ... r/examples

It's possible one of the tutorials is out of date, and we can update it, if that is the case.

WelI. I had to delete all Arduino files and reinstal IDE. Then delete all libraries ref`s in my scetches. Delete and reinstal & including Adafruit libraries latest versions. When the sketches worked fine 6 months ago - there MUST have been some updates, no mather your collegues denied that. Thank you Cooper.
