use of ada fruit in industrial environments

Post by trindadeprog »

hello, I'm from Brazil and wanted to know if someone has used adafruit in iot systems in dustrais, places where it has to be robust to withstand the work, and if the answer is yes, oq did to protect the modules.

thank you for the attention, have a great day

Hey! While I don't have any specific examples I know people have used Adafruit IO in other less than ideal environments.

One concern I would have would be the internet reaching since the antennas on a lot of those boards aren't as good as the antennas on your phone or computer. You can get around this by getting a board with an antenna jack (like this one https://www.adafruit.com/product/5438) and installing a big one.

Encasing the project in an enclosure like this would probably also help. https://www.adafruit.com/product/903
