Hello,
I'm working with the Adafruit IO Basics Digital Out sketch. Am using CC3000 WIFI breakout, Arduino UNO, and the Powerswitch Tail II. The IDE is version 1.6.6, and I've double checked and believe that all the libraries are current and working ok. Have tested the Adafruit CC3000 buildtest and Webclient example sketches, as well as the wireless powerswitch example (uses aREST instead of AIO dashboard) and they all worked ok. Though, I'll note that I did need to manually enter the IP address for the wireless powerswitch sketch.
When, I run the Digital Out sketch logged onto AIO dashboard, the board connects, and it receives the on/off signal when the toggle on the IO dashboard is selected (as indicated via the serial monitor), however it doesn't follow through and actually trigger the powerswitch to turn the lamp on or off. The small LED light on the powertail doesn't light either. Also, I've tried several browsers and found one that worked with the wireless powerswitch sketch (iphone safari), so have been using that. See below for serial monitor readings... I may be doing something silly, but any suggestions would be appreciated.

Ok, this is up and running now. Realized that I had entered "ON" and "OFF" instead of "1" and "0" within the AIO dashboard as the text to display on the toggle switch, while this is actually the value that is sent to the board. So, if it = 1, then it writes to the pin to tell the powerswitch to turn on. Since it was sending "ON" instead of "1", it wasn't turning it on.
