IS AIO GONE NOW?!?!

by pyremage on Sat Feb 20, 2016 9:25 pm

So, is the service gone entirely now? With out any service for most of the day, and absolutely no word from anybody at Adafruit, how are we to know if this failure to connect is our problem or your servers crashed, or you just don't care to pursue this project anymore, or whatever....what the heck??!!

I understand that this is a BETA program but this is very unprofessional, IMO...

hiya, adafruit.io is not discontinued, it *is* in beta, so we're constantly working on it. will update this thread if/when there is updated information on the status, no ETA on the response. thx!

So, is it really so hard to simply post a status update to the top of this forum? To make it sticky and add to it when you need?

Many, many, other BETA programs that I have been a part of make this a priority, so your debuggers can tell if it's your stuff that's broken or theirs....what is the problem??

hiya, MQTT is back up, we're in the process of migrating servers.
there is no eta when migration will be done

adafruit.io may be up and down over the next few days
there is no eta on when there may or may not be a service notifier

if you need reliable, continuous service, adafruit.io may not be for you
there are a ton of paid services that are out of beta and can provide guaranteed service!

either way, Please be positive and constructive with your questions and comments.
