I’m currently setting up the large 1200W relay wing on top of a 32U4.
Reading the learning guide it says that I need to connect the signal pin hole in the center of the board to the pin I want to use to control the relay:
https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-pow ... ng/pinouts
However on the bottom of the board it shows I can solder the traces to choose the pin I want to use....which is it?
Also it says that when the relay is on it draws 100mA. Is the board designed so that it’s not drawing 100mA directly from the pin I choose to use? Just trying to be safe.
Thanks
Jim

Re: Using large relay feather
Hi Jim,
The relay wing will be placed on top of your feather and you have 11 positions available for the signal pin.
You will have to choose any of those in a way that it matches the output pin you have configured in your feather. Just solder the jumper corresponding to that pin.
That signal pin will command the relay through a transistor so you don't need to worry about burning the pin. The current will flow through the relay and the transistor.
Take a look at the schmatics in order to fully understand what I'm talking about:

Hope It helps!
