My first feather compile - I understand the error but not what caused it.
Any suggestions ?

Re: Unable to rename -
Tried deleting it manually and got the same message. It's got me stymied. Thanks

Re: Unable to rename -
There may be some issue with the esp8266 package; I did some searching and found others with this problem. Try uninstalling Arduino, deleting the C:\Users\Bill\AppData\Local\Arduino15 folder, and cleaning up any leftover arduino stuff in C:\Users\Bill\AppData\Local\Temp. Then install the latest version of Arduino and the ESP8266 support package. But it may be some kind of issue with the ESP8266 support:

Re: Unable to rename -
I am going to reopen this .....
When i reinstalled, the test feather worked fine. I thought the issue solved.
Later that day, I tried to run the Alexa (Echo) code from Adafruit and the file error popped up. So I went back and forth. Looks like the 3 libraries necessary for the Feather are not working as designed. I added a program to wipe the directory but that surely cannot be the right answer.
So I'm back for guidance !
