Huzzah32 Power Question

Post by BuffaloFan32 »

The guide for the Huzzah32 says that using the 5V/USB pin to power it could damage your computer if it is powered up and you inadvertently connect the USB cord. Does the same risk exist if I transform the voltage from my power supply to 3.3V and use that pin?

Are you saying you would like to pull the EN pin to GND to disable the 3v regulator and then power the Huzzah32 off the 3v or BAT pin? I think that would be fine and not have the same backpower risk as 5v on the USB pin.
