Adafruit Feather M0 Dev Board Wi-Fi

Post by zjamil8 »

I currently have the Adafruit Feather micro controller board and the Lithium Ion Solar charger. Can the micro controller be powered from the solar charger via the JST connection on board, as its only specified for LiPo/LiIon Batteries?

Can you explain further? You would need a battery for the charger to charge but you can connect the Feather to that battery for power.

The micro controller cannot be connected directly to the solar charger as the connections are different (Micro USB & JST). Therefore, could I plug the LOAD port of solar charger to the JST connection on board the micro controller and run through that? Assuming I have a LiPo battery connected to the BATT port on the solar charger

I would not do that. I would run wires from the bat and ground pins on the charger to the bat and ground pins on the Feather. You should not put a battery in both devices at the same time though.
