Hi there,
I just bought a Feather 328P but it seems to be defective.
I can't get it to communicate on my Mac or Linux system, the reset button does not appear to put it in bootloader mode (no flashing #13 LED).
Thanks,
Jason

I should also note that the RX Led on the board does flash when I try to get it to talk, but the TX light never flashes.

Are you using a known good USB data cable (not a charging cable) and do you have USB 2.0 ports available?

Yep, known good cable. It appears that the 328 is dead but the USB to Serial chip is functional. The feather is enumerating properly on the computers and showing RX activity, but not able to get it to the bootloader.

Also, the same cable/computer configuration works for programming a M0 Feather.

Re: Dead Feather 328P
I had (am still having) the same issue.
I think it's related to my code, but still trying to resolve that.
In the meantime, I discovered that I can force the "bricked" feather into bootloader operation by holding down the reset button while applying power.
Hope this helps...

I gave that a try as well, no dice. Thanks for the suggestion though!
