The documentation for the Adafruit nRF52840 Feather says that the 'Bat' pin is the same as the LiPo battery +ve and is in the range 3.5 - 4.2 volts. Does this pin have an absolute maximum voltage that can be applied?
The document also says that the 'USB' pin is the +5V supply from the USB. If I operate the board without plugging it into USB, can +5V be supplied TO to board through that pin?
Thanks.

Re: Adafruit nRF52840 Feather Power
6v is the recommended maximum input voltage for the 3.3v regulator, so no more than 6v at USB or BAT pins.
The USB/Vbus bin is connected directly to the USB 5v pin so, yes, you can supply 5v via that pin as long as you don't connect USB with an active 5v line (you could make a custom "data only" cable with the 5v line disconnected.. you need ground, though).
You can see the power input circuit on the schematic at https://learn.adafruit.com/assets/68545.
