Hi all,
I've a project involving a Express m0 with Music FeatherWing.
Code, display and interface are working but I now need to be able to switch from headphones and an amplified mono output with enough power to be clearly audible outside.
What would be the simplest and recommended way to do this?
[*] get an headphone output from the amplified version of the wings? how?
[*] add a amplifier like the Stereo 3.7W Class D Audio Amplifier - MAX98306 to the headphone version? Is it safe to wire it on the 3.3V regulator? Any clue to do so?
The second question is then how to get a mono output from the FeatherWing or the MAX98306?
My project is now running on batteries from m0 and I would like if possible to keep it that way.
I know this is maybe a lot to ask, but any clue is welcome! Thanks for your help :-)

Line level/headphone output connections are not available on the amplified version. You can connect an amplifier like the MAX98306 to the headphone version. However, you should power it directly from the BAT pin instead of the 3.3v pin. This will give you better output volume while avoiding overloading the 3.3v regulator.
