Bit puzzled by this one. Went through and set up the Arduino support per the guide. The device appeared as COMx in the Port: menu. The selected board was "Adafruit Feather NRF52840 Express." I decided to test programming by simply uploading a blank sketch. Upload went fine and the RGB LED stopped cycling as expected. Unfortunately, it appears I've also bricked my board. The board no longer shows as a COM port under Windows. Also tried on macOS, expecting a 'usbmodem' device, but no device appears. It's tempting to suspect a bootloader/BSP mismatch, however the symptoms don't appear to match those mentioned in the guide, and updating the firmware appears to require a working serial device, which I no longer have.
Thoughts on what might've gone wrong and how to light this thing back up?
Using Arduino 1.8.15 on both Win10 and macOS 11.4, FWIW. BSP is the 1.0 (latest) version.
Feather NRF52840 Express bricked by empty sketch?

Have you tried to 'double tap' the reset button?

Oh golly, did I just blow past that somewhere? In any case: Thank you! No, I did not try that. Resurrection complete!franklin97355 wrote:Have you tried to 'double tap' the reset button?
