Unable to format spi flash on Feather m4 express

Unable to format spi flash on Feather m4 express

I have been working with the qt py for some time now and have been able to succesfully change spi flash but when using the feather m4 express with a custom spi flash it will recognize the jedec id and start the formatting process does nothing after that
