I've recently purchased FeatherWing OLED 128x64 through Digikey and plugged it in a Adalogger M0 board. The display is very, very dim. In fact, I only noticed something was 'visible' on the display after nightfall, when my lab was darker. Here's an image of the faint Adafruit splash screen when running a basic test program:

Things I have tried:
- Using the setContrast function does change the contrast, but it can only be lowered (expected, as the screen starts at max contrast by default).
- Verified the 3.3V rail and the charge-pump output (11.6V)
- The usual continuity tests
Anything else I could try? Here's some more product pictures; the board looks perfectly fine otherwise.
Thanks for your help! :)
The problem seems similar to this recent post, except that in my case the display never worked:Very, very dim 128X64 oled display

Thanks for the photos. We can replace this. We'd also be interested in getting that one back so we can investigate this. Are you in the US?

Re: Very, very dim 128X64 oled display
Hi,
Thanks that'd be awesome. I'm happy to send it back but I live in Japan so I'm not sure how that would work. Let me know if/how we can proceed.
In the meantime I went over the contacts of the display flat-flex (bad joint?) but it did not improve the situation.
