I would like to connect a feather to LAN via ethernet so planning to use the Ethernet FeatherWing https://www.adafruit.com/product/3201.
However, my project will have two possible power sources, power-over-ethernet (PoE) when available, or battery during outages.
So I was thinking of using the PoE splitter https://www.adafruit.com/product/3785 to give me a PoE source and a battery with the power management board https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-fea ... management.
Assuming this is possible, is there also a way to run the Ethernet FeatherWing https://www.adafruit.com/product/3201 from the PoW source so that only the main Feather board switches to the battery source when PoE is lost? (so that the Ethernet FeatherWing loses power and doesn't waste it when not in use).
Was wondering if this can be achieved with the doubler https://www.adafruit.com/product/2890?

You can use the doubler. You'll need to cut the 3.3V and BUS traces between the two footprints, then connect PoE power to both.
