RuntimeError: No pull up found on SDA or SCL; check your wir

I have a Circuit Playground Express and am trying to hook up a TCS34725 Color Sensor, hoping to get a bit more accuracy than the built-in light sensor.

I'm trying to follow the instructions from https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-col ... and-wiring and am getting the following error...

Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
code.py output:
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "code.py", line 8, in <module>
RuntimeError: No pull up found on SDA or SCL; check your wiring

Code: Select all | TOGGLE FULL SIZE
import board
import time
import busio
import adafruit_tcs34725

i2c = busio.I2C(board.SCL, board.SDA)
sensor = adafruit_tcs34725.TCS34725(i2c)

while True:
    temp = sensor.color_temperature
    lux = sensor.lux
    print("Temperature: {0}K Lux: {1}".format(temp, lux))
    # Delay for a second and repeat.
    time.sleep(1.0)

From the photo it looks like you have the header strip going through the breakout and into the breadboard. If so they you don't have a good connection. That's just not a reliable connection and should be soldered. See https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-color-sensors/assembly-and-wiring.
