Is Codecademy Subscription Needed With Circuit Playground Ex

Hi!

I was about to order a Circuit Playground Express when I noticed the checkbox for 1 month of a Codecademy Pro subscription for $19.95. This makes me wonder if a subscription to Codecademy Pro is required for learning CircuitPython. Is there comprehensive and free online documentation for learning CircuitPython, or is one expected to purchase a Codecademy subscription?

Hi Bob, thanks for the question -- no you don't need a Codecademy Pro subscription in order to learn CircuitPython, it's one option, but there are others. We have many guides in the Adafruit Learn System that you can use as well. Here are two great ones to start with:
