Post by V2man »

I am wrong! CIRCUITPY drive has always been there but you can't see it until .....

CIRCUITPY is present, CPB powered by USB port PC and Crickit board power is off.
Press reset button of CPB board once. No CIRCUITPY.
Wait then press reset button of CPB board again. No CIRCUITPY drive.

Power up Crickit board. Still No CIRCUITPY drive.
Now press the reset button on CPB board. CIRCUITPY is back!
Wait then press reset button of CPB board again. CIRCUITPY is still there. Hooray!

I know very confusing.

You do not have to re-load the CircuitPython uf2 file to the CPLAYBTBOOT drive to restore CIRCUITPY
as I stated in the previous posts
All you have to do is make sure there is power going to both CPB and Crickit boards.
Then press reset once on CPB to get the CIRCUITPY drive back.
