Low Power/Sleep Mode

by foxben on Mon Apr 06, 2020 5:17 pm

I have a CP express Bluefruit being powered with 2x 2032 batteries

I want to power it off and on with a momentary push button.

but it may sit in a drawer for weeks at a time and I don't want the batteries to drain down while sitting.

Is there a low power or sleep mode that I can use for this?

and if so

is there an example of code somewhere that I can see how to do it in MU editor?

thanks

In case its not clear above, I just want to find example code of how to turn a CPBluefruit off and on with a momentary push button wired to a digital pin.

Hopefully when the board is turned off it goes into a power saving mode.

but if it does not go into power saving mode then can you please explain how to enable power saving mode when turned off.

I have searched for hours for a solution with no luck, there are some similar examples out there i have found for arduino, but I am doing the code in the MU editor(not arduino editor) and i do not know how to convert arduino libraries to MPY library files or know how all the syntax differences between the two. this is where i am finding my biggest hurdles that there is not alot out there for doing things in MU for .py files.

thanks
