Arduino IDE 2.0.1.5 on Raspberry Pi loading libraries

Heads up, there is some ground work you need to do to install Adafruit libraries into Arduino IDE on Raspberrian. It turns out that the implementation in the Arduino IDE does not support dashes in file names, so when you go to install the Adafruit-GFX-Library-master.zip library in the Sketch->Import Library->Add Library menu it will fail with an error of:
The library "Adafruit-GFX-Library-master" cannot be used. Library names must contain only basic letters and numbers. (ASCII only and no spaces, and it cannot start with a number)

Unfortunately a dash "-" or a period "." is also not allowed in the file names. The fix is to change the character(s) in the zip by:
Unzipping the package
Rename the folder, replacing the "-" and "." with a "_"
Compress the folder as a Zip

A shell script maven could probably automate the process and might be so kind as to place an example here.
I did it with the desktop UI and it was a bit tedious, but worked.

Good luck!
