Myoware muscle sensor data

by ddd222 on Tue Apr 27, 2021 4:11 pm

I picked up data using arduino's default AnalogReadSerial and this was the graph on the serial plotter. This was far from expected, and I want to know if the data is normal.

This is a really tight range on the ADC between 297 - 303. It would be normal to see this kind of variation with nothing connected. I take it you had a Myoware muscle sensor hooked up to the ADC. Was it actually connected to a muscle?

It was. Could it be a connection error?

You should expect that level of noise on a 10bit ADC (0-1023 range). A jump in 297 - 303 is quite normal. When you flex the muscle versus leaving it in a relaxed position are you seeing a much more significant jump? Can you post a photo of how you have things wired up?
