I am able to successfully upload makecode projects to a Playground BLE boardfrom a windows 10 machine and an OSX machine, but not from an ipad/IOS machine (all using the same USB cable). Things work as expected on the windows and OSX machines, but when uploading to CPLAYBTBOOT from the IOS machine, the board either doesn't disconnect automatically or the CPLAYBTBOOT drive abruptly disappears; when rebooted the prior CURRENT program is still running. Has anyone else had similar problems?
Here is he bootloader information (updated from the factory configuration).
Thanks in advance for any insights!
UF2 Bootloader 0.6.1 lib/nrfx (v2.0.0) lib/tinyusb (0.10.1-293-gaf8e5a90) lib/uf2 (remotes/origin/configupdate-9-gadbb8c7)
Model: Adafruit Circuit Playground nRF52840
Board-ID: nRF52840-CircuitPlayground-revD
SoftDevice: S140 version 6.1.1
Date: Aug 4 2021
Should I expect makecode/UF2 bootloader to work from IOS?

Re: Should I expect makecode/UF2 bootloader to work from IOS
There is one update to the bootloader which would be worth trying to see if it makes any difference. It was released 17 days ago.

CPLAYBOOT should disappear when the program is running. When you press 'reset' once on the CPX Bluefruit does it return to CPLAYBOOT on the iOS/iPad setup?
