I purchased a set up Circuit Playground Express Boards and started a project with my students today and one of the boards is only lighting up 1 of the Neopixel LEDs. Is there a way to hard reset the board or troubleshoot the lights to see if they're faulty. The other boards work just fine. I tried power cycling and using different power sources (USB and battery pack).
Have a close look at the area between the NeoPixel that works and the one next to it. Poor solder joints on the NeoPixel is the most likely thing. Feel free to post a clear photo. My though is that there is a problem in the data line between the two. Another possibility is something wrong with the second Neopixel so it isn't working and also not transmitting data to the remaining NeoPixels.
Thanks Dave, I plugging in this board again and now the board isn't even lighting up at all. It's a new board that I just started using out of the package. Is there a return policy or a way to get a replacement unit?

OK, it sounds like something has gone seriously bad. Please email [email protected] with a link to this thread, your order number, and request the replacement of one CircuitPlayground Express.
