ISSUE WITH CIRCUIT PLAYGROUND EXPRESS

Post by HoloMind »

Hello,

I'm having an issue with my cplay express where it disconnects everytime I try to upload a uf2 file (which I get from https://makecode.adafruit.com/ website) to CPLAYBOOT drive. I'm using Windows 10. I wasn't having this issue when I was trying to upload uf2 file to CPLAYBOOT drive on a Mac computer.

Can you clarify what you mean by disconnect? In general, the CPLAYBOOT folder will go away once the UF2 file is done copying over. At that point, the board resets and runs whatever the code is in the UF2.

No problem, glad that help. Also - you should be able to always get back to the CPLAYBOOT folder by pressing the reset button. You're using Makecode, so in that case it should be a single press of the reset button. When programming with Arduino or CircuitPython, it takes a double press of the reset button.
