My Circuit Playground has lost its built-in USB support. When I plug it in with USB cable to PC, the leds light but there is no display of the directory of programs in the Circuit Playground (I don't know the proper name for that display).
When I connect my pyportal display device to the same Windows10 computer with the same USB cable then a display of the directory of programs within the pyportal appears on the PC monitor which I believe indicates the pyportal has USB support working.
On the Adafruit web page for "Introducing Circuit Playground" it states "Built in USB means you plug it in to program it, it just shows up - all you need is a Micro-B USB cable, no additional purchases are needed!"
My Circuit Playground doesn't do that; it seems to have lost its built-in USB support.
How do I replace/renew the software on the Circuit Playground so it will work?
Thank you,
Steve Huntsman
A side issue for me: Does Adafruit provide a glossary of the terms &/or terminology describing the devices?

The CIRCUITPY drive may have become corrupted. See these troubleshooting instructions: https://learn.adafruit.com/welcome-to-c ... 2978456-26, and see if erasing and reformatting the drive works.

When I go to Adafruit web page 'https://learn.adafruit.com/welcome-to-c ... 2978456-26' per your directions/reply to my query;
Then it directs me to Adafruit web page 'https://circuitpython.org/downloads'
When I go to that site it provides many hardware related downloads but no software downloads.
How do I find the latest version of CircuitPython for my board?
How do I find the latest version of CircuitPython Library Bundle for my board?
Thank you,
