Hello everyone,
Has anybody seen issues were lines appears on the OLED display?
It does not look like to be dead pixel, any ideas if there is a way to fix it?
Thank you,

Re: Macreopad with line in the center of the OLED
When I rotate the macropad display, to 180 the bottom line disappears, but the middle one is still present. Is this a bad OLED? I tried the nuke UF2 and multiple releases of circuit python 7.0x and got the same result.

What was the most recent version you tried here?I tried the nuke UF2 and multiple releases of circuit python 7.0x and got the same result.
Try downloading and running this ready to go demo UF2 file:
https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-mac ... -3100141-2
as another way to test if the OLED shows the glitch. You run it just like installing CP firmware - just drag UF2 to the RPI-RP2 folder.

Hi, thank you for the reply.
I wanted to add that this glitch was there out of the box.

That’s exactly what I did.
- I Tried alpha 5: same results.
- Then I tried the UF2 file: same issue(this is the image on my previous reply

Re: Macreopad with line in the center of the OLED
Thanks for verifying. Wanted to make sure this wasn't something related to current development of CircuitPython for the MacroPad. The UF2 is the good sanity check for that.
So, yah, seems like maybe that OLED has an issue. It's actually possible to replace it on the MacroPad. If you flip the MacroPad over, you'll see the ribbon cable going into a little connector. And the OLED itself is just held down with double-backed tape. We can send you a replacement OLED if you think you'd be OK doing the swap out?

I will be okay doing the swap of the OLED of my MacroPad if you send me a replacement one :).We can send you a replacement OLED if you think you'd be OK doing the swap out?
I took a look at the ribbon cable, and I notice some marks on it, but does not look like is a cut on the cable, and I'm unsure this could be the reason for these glitches. Reseating the cables did not make a difference :(

OK, cool, let's get you a replacement OLED and see if that works. Send an email to [email protected] with a link to this thread and ask them to send you a new OLED display for the MacroPad.

That's the hope :)
You can respond back here after you get the replacement if it still doesn't work or you have questions about installing it, etc. But fingers crossed that it'll work.
