adabox 19 micropad not showing up on the computer

Post by munocat »

When I plug the micropad into my PC, Mac or Pi it does not show up as a drive. I am using the pink usb-c cable supplied in the adabox. any idea ?

Can you get into bootloader mode? See https://learn.adafruit.com/adafruit-mac ... cuitpython.

I have a similar issue, and I am not able to get into bootloader mode. When I try, I get a pop up from windows that Windows does not recognize the USB device, and it shows up in Device Manager as "Unknown USB Device (Set Address Failed)".

Any recommendations?

Update on this. After I read a different thread here that talked about underpowered USB ports, I tried a port on the back of my computer. (I had been using the more accessible ports on the front.) This time it worked, so that might have been the issue.
