Ready for the Feather M4 boards!

Post by geekguy »

Hi,

Oh, YES, I am definitely ready to get the upcoming Feather M4 boards!!!!!

I need the added memory they will provide more than anything else, although being faster and having more I/O is really nice too. I am building a small four wheeled robot that will have two distance sensors, Bluetooth, and an IMU (Gyroscope, Accelerometer, and Magnetometer). I have already figured out how to fit all of this on my Little Red Rover, but may have to change to a different chassis, even though I really like this one. It is the motors and wheels that are making me want to change.

The only things I do not already have working with Circuit Python are the IMU and Bluetooth. I will have the Bluetooth module this week!

I would also really like to see Circuit Python be ported to the Feather HUZZAH ESP32.

We are too! We're working hard on it.

The ESP32 will come later though.

Just make the M4 boards with maximum speed and maximum RAM. Then, I think you will see Circuit Python explode with use in all areas!
