Circuitpython - Arduino Nano RP2040 BUILTIN_LED not working

by Mridul_Singhal on Tue Aug 24, 2021 4:51 am

I uploaded the adafruit-circuitpython-arduino_nano_rp2040_connect-en_US-6.3.0 to the BOOTLOADER of Arduino nano RP2040, but as mentioned in the instructions, a drive names CURCUITPY didn't pop up. So, I uploaded adafruit-circuitpython-raspberry_pi_pico-en_US-6.3.0 to the board. This time is got successfully uploaded and a drive with name CIRCUITPY was visible and accessible.
I further wrote a code to turn the Builtin_LED on and off. But the led is not showing any sign. I even tried changing the default board led pin to 13 as for Arduino Nano RP2040 but that too showed no sign of success.

Hmm.

LED should be on GPIO6 according to the CircuitPython code for the board.

have you tried with the latest CircuitPython v7.0.0?

The pin used for the LED on the Arduino Nano RP2040 vs the Pi Pico may be different. But try 7.0.0 on the Arudino Nano RP2040. Arduino changed the flash chip they were using on the Nano due to chip shortages, and 6.3.0 doesn't know about the new flash chip; 7.0.0 does.
