Mounting the Linux filesystem and reading files

by charp3nti3r on Mon Nov 29, 2021 3:15 pm

Hello, guys!

I was wondering if mounting the host's filesystem is possible and if we can read files, list directories, etc. from it? If it's possible, then what would be the best way to go about it? (I assume it should be done through the storage module somehow?) If not, would anyone be kind to explain as to why?

Thanks in advance!

If you mean mounting somethign from the host (e.g. /home/dastels on my Linux box) on a Feather running CircuitPython and being able to read it from a CircuitPython program... nope... the mount is a one way thing. I suppose technically it might be possible, but there's no support for it in this environment.
