nativeio module in TonyD's video

by wchspltw on Fri Jun 30, 2017 3:15 pm

I am following Tony D's video [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RDn-jYLb7bM&list=PLjF7R1fz_OOUmgpmVDTyX85Z8OO142eia&index=14] to use the circuit playground express capacitive touch capabilities. He imports the board and then the nativeio. I try to import the nativeio but get a ImportError that no module exists. I tried to find the module file on GitHub but could not identify one. Any help? Am I using the wrong command? Thanks.

CircuitPython is a fast-moving target :-). nativeio was split into analogio, digitalio, busio, pulseio, and touchio since that video was recorded. The function names are largely the same. See the online documentation at http://circuitpython.readthedocs.io/en/ ... nit__.html. The module names and functions are stabilizing now that the 1.0.0 release is imminent. So do import touchio instead of import nativeio, and check the documentation if you run into further issues.
