Pybadge problem

by patrebert on Sun Jan 26, 2020 11:12 pm

Trying to get started with new pybadge, didn't get very far. Tried example pybadger code, got this:

Adafruit CircuitPython 4.1.2 on 2019-12-18; Adafruit Pybadge with samd51j19
>>> from adafruit_pybadger import PyBadger
>>> pybadger = PyBadger()
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
File "adafruit_pybadger.py", line 131, in __init__
File "neopixel.py", line 117, in __init__
ValueError: buf is too small. need 35 bytes
>>>

Verified all required lib files are present, can you help? TIA.

Please make sure you are using NeoPixel 5.0.0. 4.1.0 uses a different approach internally that has some bugs. 5.0.0 rolled it back and we'll role the new stuff out a bit later when it's been refined.
