Circuitpython raspberry pi

by carphone on Mon Apr 20, 2020 1:13 pm

Hi, I have a project that uses a number of sensors, one wire, i2c, hall effect etc, threading and threaded callbacks.

I have used the circuitpython rfm69hcw libraries on a simple program to send a message to an arduino and this worked well.

I now want to include the circuitpython rfm69hcw library and working code into the main project code.

I don't fully understand how the circuitpython system works on the pi and would appreciate it if someone can confirm if I can just bring the rfm69
libraries and code into the existing project.
Essentially is the circuitpython library just like any other library, will using circutipython effect any of my existing code.

Thanks.

I'd encourage you to try it. I don't think Blinka (the CircuitPython-compatible library) does anything that will disrupt other stuff.
