Redirecting mu save

by flounder on Tue May 05, 2020 12:01 am

I started up mu, but my board was not plugged in. It decided to write the files in c:\mu_code\.
OK, I can live with this. I wrote my first program, plugged in my Feather M4 Express, but could find no way to have mu start saving to the chip. Well, it did the detection on startup, so I exited it. I restarted. It opened the file I had been editing. I could find no way to redirect it, for example, there is no "save as" option.

I copied that latest UF2 loader to my chip, and then installed the latest version of Python 5. I can type to the REPL, so it all seems happy, but I can't get my file over there without dragging it. And the main.py seems to not exist, so I can't edit a call to my function. The beginner's guide is silent about how to get all this to work together.

I believe Mu can rename by clicking the tab with the filename. (If I remember right.)
